BYO chair and picnic rug, you'll find everything else you need here at the venue! Don't forget to check our weather report and dress accordingly, this is an outside event.

Headline Bands

Chubby Rae and the ElevatorsChubby Rae & the Elevators have been making converts to their vibed-up, good-time blues since their first gig in July 2000 and since then, Marisa Quigley, aka Chubby Rae, the 6’2” redheaded soulful powerhouse, has been singin’ the blues like there’s no tomorrow, gaining fans wherever she goes with her fantastic voice and fabulous stage presence.

The Elevators are dedicated blues men, and without doubt one of Victoria’s finest bands. With Jim Dyson, the “Boss of the Boogaloo” on guitar and slide, Karl Inderberg and Craig Chiller holding it all together on drums and bass, and the new guy, Lou Toth tearing it up on sax, Chubby Rae & the Elevators dig deep into blues traditions to lay down grooves that even a corpse could move to. That’s what the blues is for!

The Band Who Knew Too Much The Band Who Knew Too Muchare a bona-fide foolproof floor-packing band. For over a decade they have branded their sound around the world; a highly energetic act that is at home singing on the festival stage, busking unplugged on the city streets, or anything in between!

Washboard/Accordion driven anthems about spending the rent, hard rubbish nights and of course, the immortal BEER O’CLOCK!! It's happy hour, energetic party music for everyone.

The Program

Myrniong Music in The Park begins at 3pm, with local teenagers and their newly formed bands displaying some incredible raw talent.
