Once again, Myrniong Rec Reserve plays host to Myrniong Music in the Park, an annual family event on the Victorian Music calendar. Come join us and share our country hospitality as we spend a late summer's day and evening kicking back under blue sky and stars to some fine musicians as they do their thing at the Myrniong Music in The Park. BYO chair and picnic rug, you'll find everything else you need here at the venue! Don't forget to pack a jumper, it can get a little cool up here at night, even in the summer.

Headline Band

The Substitutes The members of 'The Substitutes' were all inspired by the music of the Sixties to start their own music careers. Though their careers went in different directions, they all became professional musicians, toured nationally (and internationally) and recorded albums and singles. All the while they have retained a love for performing live and for the music that originally excited them.

The Program

Hollow Everdaze and Lamb Boulevard And The Umbrella have been impressing the Ballarat and Melbourne scene in recent months, along with Demi Louise, and Sally Baulch who have always impressed with their own material at previous events.

Biggy Rat will be onstage at 8.00pm

The Substitutes are expected on stage 9:00pm.

The Catering

The traditional 'Myrniong Music in The Park' BBQ, with sausages, hamburgers and potatoes in jackets, all cooked and sold by members of the local Myriong hall committee.

Ice cream, coffee and slushies, lollies and soft drinks.

Beef-on-a-spit supplied by Westside Meats

St Anne's Winery will offer free tasting and sales.
